Breathtaking view by the Ewaso Nyiro River
We stayed for 3 nights at the elephant bedroom camp and the staffs, the food, the view and the game drives are all phenomenal. The food is fantastic and abundant at the restaurant, you need to order your lunch and dinner in advance and there are a lot of choices to choose from. Because the hotel is situated opposite to the river, you will see herds of elephants, impalas and other animals trooping away. It is relaxing to watch them whilst breakfast and lunch. All the staffs are friendly at the camp and made us feel like home.

This place is awesome from the minute you pull up. From the cool towel and fresh juice greeting to the sad farewells when leaving this place does it well. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay if you go to Samburu , and you should make samburu a stop for sure.

Our family loved every moment of our stay at Elephant Bedroom camp. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the food was fantastic (with especially good fish/vegetarian options) and the staff are friendly and helpful. Best of all was the location - we were surrounded by elephants throughout our stay (and saw lots of other animals too). A truly unique and special place!
